Principal's Welcome

Nambrok-Denison Primary School staff and parents concentrate on fostering a warm friendly atmosphere where children are encouraged to achieve to the best of their individual ability and develop a life-long love of learning.

Welcome to the Nambrok-Denison Primary School website where you will find a wealth of information about our school. If you still have any unanswered questions, please feel free to contact us by phone or drop in to the school in person, to make your enquiries.

Nambrok-Denison Primary School is dedicated to high academic standards and committed to developing broad educational programs of the highest quality.  The school emphasises the development of English, Mathematics and the integration of Information Technology throughout the curriculum.
Students also have access to learning experiences in the following areas:

  • The Arts (including Visual Arts and Music specialist programs
  • Health & Physical Education delivered through classes and Sporting Schools
  • Humanities including History and Geography, Science and Technology
  • Bahasa Indonesian as our Language Other Than English (LOTE)

The school offers specialist teachers for Music, Art, Library and Physical Education (through Sporting Schools) and has a Literacy Support tutor, Integration Aide, a School Chaplain, and a Principal who undertakes teaching, coaching and leadership roles.

The M.A.R.C. (Mobile Area Resource Centre) library, serving the district rural schools, is based at the Nambrok-Denison Primary School and each class has a weekly library lesson.  The aim of these programs is to be purposeful, challenging and motivating, as well as ensuring that all students feel a sense of success and achievement.  Our Integration and Intervention Programs cater for the needs of all students.

We are well resourced in terms of our school grounds and facilities where teaching and learning takes place in well equipped and maintained classrooms. We have a multi-purpose room, mobile computer lab with laptops and i-pads and a covered outdoor learning area. Grades 3-6 are situated in our new Senior Learning Centre which comprises 3 classrooms, 2 meeting rooms and a central shared learning space.  Our Foundation, grades 1, 2 & 3 learners work in recently renovated classrooms that open out into the outdoor learning area.
