Department of Education and Early Childhood Development policy requires that all parents of children who suffer from asthma inform their school and provide an Asthma Management Plan, signed by a doctor. Click here to download the Asthma Management Plan.
All student absences must be communicated with the school each day. High student attendance is vital for the ongoing improvement of their education.
Any unexplained absences will be followed up by the school.
A government provided school bus currently services students at our school. More information about bus route and times can be obtained at the office.
Children who will reach the age of five years on or before 30th April may commence school in January of that year. An enrolment form may be obtained from the school office or downloaded here.
It is essential that all articles belonging to your child, whether it is clothing, books, pencils, lunch-boxes or drink containers, are named so that teachers can locate the owners of lost property. A significant amount of unidentified and unclaimed clothing is unfortunately, regularly, donated to charity at the end of each term.
School Lunch Orders are only available on certain days. You can download a list of items available and prices from the link below. Please write your lunch order, name & class on a PAPER BAG and include correct change where possible. Lunch Orders are to be placed in tubs in classrooms BEFORE 9:15am
A home order is where a student brings lunch from home that they would like heated up at school. Their food needs to be wrapped in aluminium foil and labelled with their name and class. Orders are collected and placed in the pie warmer and delivered back to them at lunch time. Home orders are available every day.
Parents are asked to keep teachers informed of any serious illness or problems their child may be having, and when the child is on medication.
Our school uniform items are available for purchase at school. Selected second hand items are also available for purchase at a discounted price. Please note that students must wear correct school jumpers as part of their uniform.
Children are discouraged from bringing valuable toys and equipment to school as the school does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage. Private property brought to school by students is not insured nor is the Department of Education responsible for any loss.
Visitors and parent helpers are required to sign in at the front office of the school where the Visitor's Book is located.
Standards Nambrok Denison Primary School is committed to child safety and upholding the Child Safe Standards. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Child Safe Standards are compulsory minimum standards for all Victorian schools, to ensure that children are protected from abuse and neglect. All staff, volunteers and community members are required to observe the Child Safe Standards and always demonstrate appropriate behaviour towards and in the company of students.
